“Check Google Analytics data on your desktop”
If you own a personal website or a blog you've probably heard about Google Analytics, Google's own statistics tool to track web traffic and visitors.
While you can access your data from anywhere with a simple web browser, you may prefer to have a fully dedicated client such as Google Analytics Reporting Suite, an Adobe AIR application that brings Analytics to your desktop. The program can handle several Analytics profiles simultaneously and displays all the data in a colorful, attractive interface.
The program is quite easy to use. Simply choose the area you want to review on the left panel and see the data displayed on the main window. You can open different sections in separate tabs, which makes it very handy for comparing numbers. Some elements, however, do not follow the online layout, so sometimes you feel like you have to learn to use Analytics again, which is kind of frustrating.
One final tip: be sure to download the Adobe AIR version this program requires, that is, Beta 2. Otherwise it won't work.
With Google Analytics Reporting Suite you'll get a full features report of all the Analytics data about your blog or website delivered right to your desktop.
